It's handsome, but I wouldn't care to hang about beneath that jettied gable - it could let go any time in the next millennium. Interesting to think we've survived into the Third Millennium of the Christian Era. 'Pooter's complaining about my use of jettied. Don't they teach these 'pooters Norman-French any more?

'Pooter's annoyed with me. It's just given me a Norman-French prod for verification - 'prode'.
I hesitate to advise it that prod is from a Saxon source!
