Four birds in this one. Reading left to right :- mallard drake, ditto duck, cock pheasant, and yellow hammer (these last have been getting quite rare of late years, but are now making something of a comeback, I hope).
I had a hen pheasant land in the back garden a week or so back Mike; bit of a crash landing as its runway was quite short. She did a near vertical take-off when I approached her. She was a big one, when I first saw her I thought she might be a pea-hen!
