What does it say on the stone and where can I find it?

The flowers do look beautiful.

Thank you Halcyon. They are the sort of bright, clear, vibrant colours she liked.
Nea. Ask me when you are over here and I will show you a photo of the headstone that is reasonably readable.
Regards, Mike.

From my very unreliable memory Nea the words go something like, Treasured memories of Sylvia Peggy Horner. Goodnight, God Bless Mickey.

Mickey was our mother's pet name, derived in a roundabout fashion from her courting days when our father Donald expressed his interest in his classic Leicester dialect - 'Y'right m'duck'. When she responded with 'Yes thanks Donald Duck!' He just had to ask her to be his Mickey Mouse!

Sorry Nea I missed out the middle bit 'Dear wife of D J Horner - died 19th June 1949'

Hi Nea, I only answered half your questions:-
The grave is in Gilroes Cemetary Leicester. Enter the main gates and drive up to the Chapels and Crematoria building. Leave your vehicle and turn left onto the path which is in line with the front of the building. Walk straight along past one cross-way and pass a further six or seven rows of graves. To your left you will see a small black heart-shaped stone dated 2003, Mickey lies next to it.
