Tuesday.
This snapshot has great rarity value. It shows Ann sitting still and enjoying the morning paper.
Later in the morning drove across to our friends the Edgars. The visit had three purposes. (1) to sort out their grandfather clock (strike playing up). (2) to have lunch with them. (3) To collect a hat that Ann had lent Christine to wear when collecting her maundy money from The Queen on Maundy Thursday. The clock, which Colin commissioned me to find about 30 years ago, and which I have kept in going order ever since, took about fifteen seconds to fix. Viewed Maundy money and heard all about the service. Then lunch, during which I took snapshots of birds through the ajacent large window onto their back garden. Motored home via Chelsworth, mainly due to roadworks on usual route. Took some photoes of Chelsworth, which claims (together with several others) to be the prettiest village in Suffolk. Can never make up my mind on this one, and mentally award them all first equal. Will try and put up a few pictures later.

She's not behind the Times, is she?
Telegraph. As per many years now. Prefer the crossword and the letters. Besides the Times gone Mirror and Sun size.
P.s. Couldn't remember the correct word. Can now :- Tabloid.
Love, Pa.
I meant, she's very with-it! Not like Uncle Bulgaria.
Was great uncle Bulgaria behind the times ??
