Thursday.

Got up this morning to see even more snow. At nine a.m. we set out to drive to Stanstead Airport. Local roads as per above photo. We'd checked out Stanstead before we set out and been told that there was not much snow there. Journey took an hour and a half, roads becoming better as we journeyed. Saw Ann through the barrier, then drove home. Stopped in town to do a couple of jobs, and arrived home at one p.m. to hear 'phone ringing. It was Ann to say she was on the plane, which was about to take off. I should have said - she is flying to Sweden to spend a few days with Ruth et al. She should land in Sweden this afternoon, catch a 'bus to Stockholm Railway Station, then catch the overnight sleeper up to Ruth, arriving there around seven tomorrow morning, then a seven or eight minute walk to the flat. I suspect Ruth, Lasse and the girls will probably meet her at the Station.

Thank you Z and Lori. After the first fiftee miles of road here everything went like clockwork, and she arrived at Ostersund to be met by Nea and Freja at 7 a.m.(their time- 6a.m. our time) this morning.
Just as a matter of interest, and to refute people who say how very apt the Vword always is, the verification word on this comment is alinglow!!!!!!

Computers made in China can be dyslexic, Mike. It was probably worried about Ann's plane flying with 'a wing low'

To confirm this point Pootatu is now saying 'unrotly' i.e. It is not a lot of rot, but the very heart of veracity

Providing irrefutable proof of the inevitable appropriateness of the impeccable verification words the next one is 'toergie'.
Clearly computers prefer to work late at night Mike. You are just making yours work too early. Even I have been known to groan 'It's to-ergie' when awoken before 2 p.m with a claggy maw.
