Hmmm!
Initial response is...
Diss-german-spy-ate-inconsolably.
but that is just silly...
It has to be...
Diss-russian-spy-noshed-whilst seated-upon-a-small-hard-wooden-stool.

I think this may still be improved upon Mike so please don't take either of these as my final answer.

You are so nearly there. Suggest you rearrange initial response.
Regards, Mike.

Answer :- Disconsolate.

Town- Diss. Agent for a foreign government - Consul. Ate - consumed. Disconsolate - without comfort.

Bravo Mike, you had me barking up the wrong tree again; I especially enjoyed your thoroughly misleading encouragement, I really am getting past it, I had forgotten the limitless breadth and subtlety of your devious ability to shout 'fetch' and appear to toss a stick which was never in your hand.

Pootatu's v-word would suggest she concurs.. 'eptoma'.
If my greek still serves 'eptoma' would suggest she considers you are 'a cut above...'

PS you will probably see the link between eptoma and epitome.
There's more Oh you infidel of mechanical intelligence, Pootatu has given yet more convincing evidence with her next v-word 'witful' by way of saying she has faith in your ability to trick your trusting little brother.
