Yes, but Ann was saying this morning that we've had very few birds on the bird feeders this summer. And, come to thin of it, last year apair of greenfinches (probably one of them was this chap) raised a family of five young, and it wasn't unusual to see all seven of them dining at the Horner birds' breakfast bar.
You always could pull the birds Mike. ....er...., I was speaking ornithologically of course Ann! I swear I've never seen him with a greenfinch on his bicycle cross-bar ever!... Not so much as a house-sparrow.
'Pooters! Pa! v-word is 'thetic', its right again, I am pathetic.
