Tuesday 3.

 


The bridal car. It is (from memory) a 1967 2.4 Jaguar. They were (in my opinion) one of the prettiest little cars ever built. The setting is behind the hall where the wedding breakfast was held, and is a very good example of the effects, I suppose, of glaciation.

I believe Henry Moore and Glaciation have similar attitudes towards the art of sculpture...
personally I find the lines of the Jag far more emotive and aesthetically nourishing as well as speaking to my soul of power and purpose!
I love Henry's bulky simplicity and have no doubts about glaciation's awesome (but slumbrous) power...
The Jag beats them both in firing up my delight-ometer.
