Hey Mike and Ann...Tell me more about your show. I love the photos you took. Is a Punch a draft horse?

I think Molly is a Burmese Mountain Dog...not sure.

Hi Lori. The Suffolk Punch horse is one of the oldest recognisable breeds of draught horse, being mentioned in William Camden's 'Britannia' of 1585. It was formerly known also as the Suffolk Sorrel, being a bay horse. It measures between 16 and 17.5 hands, and has clean hooves, i.e. no feathered hocks, as this is considered more suitable for work on East Anglian clay soils. They are almost invariably good tempered and biddable horses. They have incredibly good traction for farm work, and are long lived.
P.s. Is Molly perhaps a Bernese mountain dog? She looks a beauty.
P.s. Ann asks me to say she loves the look of your patchwork exhibition. She used to do patchwork, and regularly gave quilts as wedding presents in the past.
Regards, Mike and Ann.
