Snapshot taken from our bedroom window at about 3 a.m. onTuesday morning (in the midddle of a very dramatic thunder storm; plus summer lightning/sheet lightning) It kept us all awake (on and off) until a final flurry at about five in the morning.
It seems to have annihilated my new phone too, which is disappointing. Fortunately, I hadn't thrown away the old ones, and the battery on one of them still works. But mostly, if anyone rings, I'll have to take a message and ring back! Which reminds me that I haven't phoned for a while - I will see if you're about tomorrow.
Our machinery (the computer) doesn't seem to have suffered any real damage from the theatrical thunder storms of the other night. Sorry it gave you such problems. Thanks for 'phoning- Ann was glad to have a natter. We ar ethinking of moving house -to a bungalow - largely because of the problems caused by my busted hip. I'll let you know details when things are a bit more positive. Warm regards to you both - Mike and Ann.
