Saturday.

Above Photo is of Ann sorting through some old tatting. Senior Resident Granddaughter thinks she may be able to get enough out of it to make a lace blouse. Knowing her skills she will probably be able to.

Yesterday an old school friend of Ruth's motored up from her father's home on the Suffolk coast, where she has been staying. It was lovely to see her again. She lives  and works in Yorkshire these days,  It was good to see her again, and reassuring to hear her cries of "none of you have changed a bit."
This said a great deal about her good manners (but, I'm afraid, very little about her common honesty).  Still - we all enjoyed her visit immensely, and she'd changed very little from the schoolgirl of thirty years (or so ago, who we all remembered.

Being called for lunch now - More later (perhaps).
