Saturday 2.

Guy and Lucy working on their pomanders.

Guy had put his name on one side, and the date on the other (2011).

Lucy had put her name on one side and a stylised (I hope) portrait of her Pa on the other.

Nice one Lucy, even Picaso couldn't have portrayed your Pa with such accuracy and sensitivity.
If he and I stood side-by-side, looking as similar as brothers should, still everyone would point to your Pa and say 'It's his portrait'.
Nice swordsmanship Guy, I take your point!
Ouch!

Pootatu is tempting me to compose a long and tedious comment...
her v-word is 'borin'...
She has no appreciation of the fine prose and lyrical poesy I produce from her slightly tacky keys...

Ho, Hum... I must away to bed, I'm bored now.
G'night.

More lovely grandchildren - and at the fun age too.

Hello Carl. I quite see that she's caught some slight likeness, but I've seen similar grotesques on West Country bench ends of mid 16th century date, and even I wasn't around to model them!!!!

Thank you Pat. We've got eleven grandchildren, ranging from eleven years to twenty two years of age. And you're right, they're all good fun.
