'After' picture of the clock I've been working on today (among other things). This clock was made by John Massingham of Fakenham in Norfolk. He was born in 1738 and died in 1809. The clock lives in a mahogany case, and is now in good going order.
Beeswax. But also a good deal of the black figures and lettering had faded, and in some places been badly replaced, so that these had to be attended to, before the polishing.
