Lots of potential in your new garden, agree with other people it is not good to make changes to gardens and indeed houses immediately upon moving in, one needs to live in a property to see how it ‘works’.
It looks like you have had a good summer in your new garden. Here we had the coldest July for 60 years, but that meant I didn't need to cut the grass very often :)
