Just been clearing out the garage and found the above illustrated single handed wall clock- got a good deal of character and a ten inch dial, of mid eighteenth date. Some work to be done on it, but could do with the odd job to be done - still, I do like having the odd job in hand.

I don't like yappy little dogs as a rule; but I makes an exception for Spandrels!
It is indeed,a very fine piece, quite handsome with those swirling curls, not sure quite what it reminds me of... Certainly not a yappy little dog, more perhaps a stylish English setter. Glad to hear you're on the ball Uncle Crowbard, and deffo not hignorant, but flexible as ever and prepared to make hexceptions when required xxx
