John also kept a stage coach and team. They usually needed exercise, which meant that after a quick 'phone call a mount was ready for me. The one in the photo was, I think ChARLIE. Nice 'oss, bitg strong minded, though. Still, once I'd taken the steam out of him, we were good friends.
