Sunday.

Last Tuesday we went (by 'bus- courtesy of our senior citizens'  bus passes) into Ipswich to do a little shopping. I took ALL the above photos in one shop in the middle of Ipswich.  It is called the Ancient House, and is now the showroom and shop for a Firm called Lakeland Plastics. Remarkably well preserved 16th century house. Nice to think it's still in use.    Goodnight All.

Surely Ann would have had a look around Lakeland?

The company is a legend, known for its excellent service, for some amazing kitchen items that you didn't know existed or that you needed.

Even after many years we are still debating whether it would be worth buying a Remoska.

About 30 years ago Lakeland was just mail order with one shop in Windermere near to their head office. They have come a long way from plastic bags for freezers.

Thank you Pat.
Hello Stig, good to hear from you. I keep checking out your blog- just in case. Love -Pa.
Hello P.M. Yes, Ann usually has a look round the place with something she needs in mind- she did this time- didn't find it though. And I usually potter round in her wake admiring the building.
Looking forward to meeting the two of you at Z's do. Regards, Mike.
