Been a lovely sunny day. Linen jacket and flannels weather rather than moleskins and weskit weather. Walked into town this morning. Had coffee at St. Mary's. Whilst drinking coffee we were chatting about last Saturday's wedding, and one of the lady guests told us a story about a fashionable feather 'fascinator' that, come to think of it, I don't think I can repeat on a respectable blog like this. After coffee spent about an hour tidying the book stall and putting out fresh stock. Walked home, had sandwich lunch, then changed into workshop scruff and did various odd jobs until supper, after which cleaned and hoovered me cellar, as we've friends coming to supper tomorrow, and they usually want to explore the place. Nearly bedtime now, so - Goodnight all.
