And here is the box opened for use, with the small bone snuff spoon/bowsprit. Nice little item, isn't it? Antique clocks are really my job, but I do enjoy little rebuild jobs like this.
Lovely piece of work Mike. I'm very impressed with the little steps to the foc's'l and poop. I'm amazed at what you can make out of half an old bone lace-bobbin. I'll try and remember to close the table-top snuffer before taking the snuff - although leaving it open ensures all present get a fair share pretty quickly! Aaah.... Aaaah.... CHOOO!
