Ex (distant) family home at Stockport

I understand it has been a bank for some time now, but it used to be one of the family homes of the Adernes, distant umpti-cousins-in-law a few centuries back.

Been a wee bit busy with...stuff. Thought I'd pop over to say g'night.

If it's got beams it's the business!

Not exactly what the purists want to hear but what the hell??...;-)

Quite a piece of architecture! How are you doing today?

Hi 4Ds,
There's no place for 'purists' in a cosmos created out of chaos! (Except of course for the infinity of completely illogical viewing points from which everything looks perfectly aligned to everything else in every way - hell of a good trick that one!)
And yes there's more beams in that building than you get in a sunset through ragged clouds!

Hi Lori,
Thank you for your kindly enquiry; no further news on Mike or his poorly compooter yet. I will post on his blog (this one) again as news arrives. He's bound to be up and blogging as soon as his compooter is fixed. I must be quite well today thanks - the sun is out and actually warm, so I popped into the garden and dug out some crocuses and rose bushes from around a tree that has to come down. Actually got as far as sharpening my axe and cutting through a few side roots before I started blacking out and going woozy. Amazingly I still had the brain-power left to decide to stop and leave the rest for another day. Dragged a chair outside and soaked up the solar effulgence, very healing and spiritually retorative.
Bless you all,
KidBruvCrowbard.
