Sunday still.

Weather Lore by old countryman (me).
Not to be took too serious.

If oak be out before the ash
then we be in but for a splash.
If ash be out before the oak
why then we'll have a real good soak.

I oak be out before the elm
then troubles will us overwhelm.
If oak be out before the hornbeam
then brightly will the sun at morn beam.

Made not by rude forebears indecent
(for most of these are far more recent.)
Made not for how the stars or times go,
but more (far more) for how the rhymes go.
