Friday .

Front Hall of (fairly) new home. The child's windsor chair to the right of the picture, belongs to grand daughter Lucy, and is the first restoration job I did after we moved in here last December. Sarah drove over here this morning and ran Ann into Ipswich Hospital this morning for her eye injection. Sarah has spent the day with us, and just started her long drive home to Milton Keynes. Hope she remembers to phones us when she gets home (she usually does).Been a good day.

Sarah 'phoned about six p.m to say she'd got home safe and happy, after a good journey.- Always a bit of a relief when they do that.

How lovely to hear from you again, Mike. Glad that things seem to be going well. I'll phone Ann soon. Love to you both, Zoƫ xxx

The chair looks good. Did it need a lot of work?

Hello Rough. Yes, it was in an awful state. jCreaking and wobbling in every joint. It now looks (and feels) firm in every joint. I think it's now up to life with a five year old - nearly six now- it belongs to your great niece, Astrid.
