Wednesday.

Snapshot of  a corner of the Library in our new home, just to prove that all the goods and chattels are    shaking down nicely into position here (as are we).     Sorry. This daft machine has got itself stuck on italic lettering only. I will now kick it about the library floor for a few minutes (doesn't improve the performance of the machine much - but makes  me feel better about it.   More later perhaps.

Try looking for a letter i in <>symbol somewhere on the input page and click on it to change from standard to italic typing and click again to reverse the effect. (There's also b for emboldening your letters and an a that may underline as you type... but I'm not very sure of that one as I've never felt the need to underline at people.

P.s. It seems to work. Must remember that one.

Hope I didn't put you off kicking it around the floor, Mike. Technology requires discipline! Harrumph! Harrumph!

Bye the bye, Mike, that must be one heck of a grandaddy clock... it appears to have outmaneuvered you and got you pinned in the corner. I hope you was wearing your steel-capped boots. And don't tell me it's just an effigy of you... you know I won't abide language!

Hello Carl. Tje pine long case c;ock stands just on six feet tall. But it makes me feel small at times. The glove puppet was made by Ruth when she was at Uni/Art School in Stockholm. Being called by Ann that we must be going to Church

He's a tough old Papa to mash Ruthie! I used to try occasionally before I learned wisdom the hard way!
