This is an early Tudor doorway and door on our High Street. It is beside a shop and, I think, gives onto a passageway beside the shop, but I can't remeber seeing it open, so I'm not sure. Must knock off now, got choir practice shortly. Cheers.

I like doors. I'd like a book about them. Doors here open outwards. Doors in England open in. I think the way doors open reflects a part of the local culture. I shall now go and google for door books.

Choirboys shouldn't go around knocking off respectable Tudor doors - even if their current owners never open them!
