Friday.

Same church as yesterday. The font, with the font cover closed and then open. It is a little difficult to read, but the trick is to start at the bottom left hand of each scroll and then continue on the scroll. I think this font cover might be unique. I don't know of a similar one. If anyone else does I would be interested to hear of it. More later perhaps.

Almost a Russian Orthodox feel about it Mike?
Is the font lead-lined? Will the Nanny-State Department of Health & Safety permit its continued usage?

Hi Crowbard. The answers to your questions are yes, yes, and yes. In that order. I think the Russian Orthodox feel is due to the slightly Haj looking top to the font cover. Don't R.O. Bishops wear hats something like that? The font is quite small, as you can perhaps see by comparing it with Ann in the background. I took one or two other snaps in the church, which I will put up on my next blog. Cheers, Mike.
