That is a very elegantly composed still-life Mike. To achieve perfection you only needed to include an extra millimetre on the base edge and maybe 3 millimetres on the left edge to prevent decapitation of the pencil's end. The colours are strong, crisp and joyous, the subject a delight to the eye and to the appetite.... you were always a better artist than me, I hope I'm not too jealous a critic!
