Mystery Object.

Haven't had one of these for a while, mystery object that is. What is the above? When was it made, where, and for what purpose (quite a specific one). Eggs should give a fair idea of size. They are ordinary, standard, chickens' eggs. Good guessing. You'll probably all know, anyway.

I meant Leyton Orient Crowbard, centre of excellence for chippies. A bit like Whitby.
I think you scored there Rog, but it's a game of two halves. But as for Whitby, surely that is famous for its jet as invented by Frank Whitby or similar?
Meanwhile, back in the real world, I used to work at the Whetstone plant where Frank Whittle tested his first jet engines. His raised brick test-beds are still there.
