Still practicing. One of these shows (Sorry - yet again) the ipomeia - been a very good year for them. The other picture shows us, and Ann's siblings and their partners having lunch a week or so ago, in the Crown and punchbowl Inn at Horningsea near Cambridge.

Morning glory is well named!
What nice bunch and I love the ipomea and can't understand why I don't have one.
Sorry - not the crow and punchbowl, but the Crown and Punchbowl.
Are you receiving me? Over!
Certainly Crowbard. Not loud and clear, exactly, but perfectly readable.
Isn't it Z? It's been a lovely year for them.
Thank you Pat. I don't know why you don't have them. I think they'd probably do even better your side of the country. Over here they only do well in good hot summers. This year they started to flower in early August, but they're still flowering well into October, and will do probably until the first frost. These are Ipomea 'Heavenly Blue'. The other name, which Z uses is Morning Glory. The top ones are between four and five inches across!
So relieved to have penetrated the fog of technology at last Mike.
