Wednesday.

I know I do this most years, and as I've not checked last year's photo,  I don't know whether they are early or late this year, but this morning I took this photograph of the first snowdrop fully out in our garden.  I'm not even saying that spring is on its way (although I'm sure it is) just that this is the first sign of  it - always a cheering thought, I find.

Excellent! Now where's that pesky cuckoo?

It must be nice to have snow drops instead of snow. Beautiful mystery objects and pictures of your travels. Good to see a picture of Ruth and the girls , who have grown up so much. Loved to read about the report the Doctor gave you...good news. You two are very busy as usual.

Do you know Rog, I can't remember hearing a cuckoo at all last summer. Given so-called global warming you'd think there'd be more of them up here, rather than less.

Hi Lori. Sorry to hear you're having a harder winter than we are. Still, got a way to go yet. You're right, it's good to keep active.

Warm regards, Mike and Ann.

I haven't been to look if they're in flower in the garden yet, but there were lots in Norwich today. Lovely.
