After my previous blog entry - quick further report :- Ruth and the girls came home at around 7.30 p.m. and it transpired that Ruth had spent some of her time in London finding me a new camera. It's an incredibly compact little thing of the same name as my previous camera - a Fujifilm Finepix T. So I've been getting used to it, and here goes with a close up of Ann's right hand. There should now be no shortage of photographs.

An extremely belated happy new year old bean.
The wifey had a complete breakdown - which has no relation to being married to me for 28 years....er...I hope ;-)
I am happy to report that she is no longer an entire sandwich short of a picnic....perhaps half a sandwich and a crust...but she is 'getting there' where ever 'there' is...
Maximus Spittimus appreciates your appearance on his blog and, as a result, will not scratch your eyes out.
Take care old bean

Hello 4Ds. Lovely to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear of Caz's problems (which are, of course, yours too). We do understand, as we've been there - about twenty years ago, when Ann was an incredibly overworked (and understaffed) Ward Sister, and often acting Matron as wll. She had in the end, and as a direct result of overwork - and very little professional sympathy from her employers, to take slightly early retirement. We both send (both of) you our warm regards, and hope your wife is soon better. Ann says "time does help".
