Thursday.

I've been overseeing the developement (or rather the lack of developement - for it's a bonsai) of the above photographed yew tree for about ten years now. Earlier in the year it was transplanted into a sink garden given to us by our friend Terry, and in which she had been growing alpines. The alpines are still there, and the yew tree appears to have settled down happily among them. I don't know now whether to grow one or two more bonsai trees in this old stone sink; don't want to overcrowd it, but tiny trees do look well among small alpine plants in an enclosed area of rockery.

Been busy today. Started work on the Black Forest clock I purchased yesterday. Still things to be done on it, though. Bedtime now however. So - Goodnight to all of you.

P.s. Should have said :- the yew tree is just over six inches tall, and eleven inches across the widest part of the foliage.
