Friday 1.

Above photo is of a game of scrabble played earlier in the week (Ann and meself). It is only notable because of the word (crazier) down the right hand side of the board. It was the last word of the game (and it's a little unusual to go out on a seven letter word across a triple word score) and  onto the word 'make'. It gave a score of 112 points, and altered the whole aspect of the game, beside winning the game.

Took the above two photoes this morning. We'd been told, by an article in the Parish Magazine, that from the first of September onward there was to be no parking in the Churchyard without a permit. No one seems to know how to obtain such a permit, and although there'd been no prior consultation on the matter as far as I know, I've never seen the churchyard so full of cars at a cafe Church. I do feel that we were all quietly trying to tell someone something.

P.s. No names - no pack drill.

Aha. How many cars do you own, Mike?

None, Christopher. The one we have is in Ann's name.

But it was worth the expense of hiring half a dozen, eh Mike?
