Wednesday.

I seem to be having real problems commenting on other blogs. I've just written and then lost a long blog after the computer had great reluctance to accept it. I think the system is playing up. Hope things soon improve.

Hi Mike, That is an all too frequent issue with blogger. I am in the habit after the last full stop of an item or comment of selecting the item (making it go blue) then right clicking for the menu then clicking copy. If the pooter then eats all I've written I can simply right click and paste the item back to where I want it.
By the bye, regarding bronze age sword in earlier blog. Did Professor T. give any indication of when & where it had been excavated/found?

Mike, I too, have had similar problems leaving comments. In the unlikely event that you get to read this, I hope you are both well!

Hi Crowbard. Thanks for advice. Ref enquiry regarding bronze age sword, will talk to you on landline. Only provenance I can give is word o' mouth and vague (and some of it my own opinion).

Hello Sir Bruin. Thanks for that. Atleast it means that it's not only my machine that's playing up. Frustrating system, isn't it? Hope it improves as time goes on.
Please convey my regards to Ursa Minor. I'd still quite like a look at your musket, if ever you're this way.
Regards to you both, Mike and Ann.

Mike, we are on holiday for the next couple of weeks so an opportunity may well present itself. I promise to ring you (I know that I've said that before!). I suspect that it is only fit for scrap though.

Hello Sir Bruin. Thanks for message. Suggest you 'phone first for three reasons :- so I can give you our address and directions thereto; to make sure we'll be in; and to give you directions, if you're interested and would like to make a small detour, to where the two abandoned chuffer engines in the farmyard can be see.
Regards, Mike.
