Sunday.

This morning both Ann and I sang in the choir at morning service. After service I'd put the robes away in the vestry and after winding the vestry clock I came across these two seated at the organ with their hands on the keyboard.  "Hello you two" I said, "practising duets are you?"
"Not really" says Oliver, the organist's son.  "Dad says we may sit up here and finger the keys, but we mustn't switch the organ on. So we're sort of only pretending to practice duets".

Mike...your blog disappeared off my links and I can't add it. Has anything changed?

I recommend the American idea of having 'take you children to work days'. Any opportunity to encourage youngsters to try the real thing should be seized upon... especially in the performing arts and making-a-big noise departments.
Feed their interest and they'll educate themselves in what matters to them... and they'll spend their lives doing what they love to society's great benefit.

Pootatu doesn't agree
her v-word is 'inouts' and of course every Utopian plan has its ins & outs.

Hello Lori. I'm sorry you're having problems staying in touch with my blog. I suspect that when Ruth was here over Christmas she had to make a good many alterations to my blog to keep me blogging. I was, at that time, finding it very difficult to publish photographs, and Ruth managed to surmount that difficulty, but presumably at the cost of my blog disappearing from some links. Please continue to try to re establish my blog as a link to yours.
Whilst I am now blogging again, everything seems to take longer to do, and the whole thing has become a bit 'round the houses' to do anything.

Hi Lori try copying and pasting the following URL into your web browser

www.http://falconsuffolk.blogspot.com
then add to 'bookmark' or 'favourites' - it should give you a direct link to Mike's blog until you can persuade blogger to let you put the armoury back amongst your blog-links..

I think Pootatu is learning Japanese her v-word is 'subonaga'

Thank you Crowbard. I've drawn your suggestion to Lori's attention. I'm sure it will help.
Regards, Mike.
