Probably shan't blog until after the weekend, as we will have senior daughter, her husband, two grandchildren, and two dogs staying with us, in order to go to our annual agricultural show tomorrow. Will try and take lots of photoes and show you them on Sunday (or more probably Monday).
The above photo was taken last Monday and shows the Market Square (or rather triangle) at Woolpit.

I take it Woolpit had a wolf-pit at some time - or is the name a consequence of the sheep farming once so prevalent in Suffolk?
Wolf-pit. We went into this this at length last year (I think it was) when the tale of the Green Children of Woolpit came under discussion.
Why so we did... strange how interesting stuff fails to come to mind when it ought!.. I think I must be getting lazy-headed... although the latest batch of potions recommended by his quackeryship warn that confusion and forgetfulness may be a side-effect... or did I read that somewhere else...
I think my head is a bit of a wooly pit at present.
Lovely photo. There are so many pretty villages in Suffolk.
Thanks Liz. I'm a Norfolk man by birth, but I do think that Suffolk has the edge over us in many ways.
