Senior resident grand daughter went into town this afternoon and purchased this rather posh yoyo at a newsagen'ts shop. It does all sorts of clever things, which she has already mastered. I had one of these things towards the end of the last war. I was taught to use it by an elderly uncle who'd had one at about the time of the Boer War. They are a toy that has been invented and reinvented since the eighteeth century. Anyway - a  good deal of fun was had with it.
