Wonderful, I'm glad it's not mine! I would be consumed with the desire to cut myself a slice and tormented with the conflicting wish to look at it a bit longer before spoiling your beautifully crafted work.
Thank you. I now have to report that it is well and truly cut into. Delicious, slightly moist, fruit cake with lots of complete glace cherries in it. Scrummy. I'd like to say that we'll bring you some of it when we next travel westward, but if I'm honest, I doubt if it will keep that long. For 'keep' read 'be kept'. Been a lovely Christmas so far.
