Been pottering in the workshop all day, making (or heavily restoring) a pendulum for a long case (grandfather) clock, which is now ticking away nicely.
Just had supper, snake in the grass (our invention - see entry for July 17th and above photograph). Cumberland sausages are perfect for this dish........
Yum...tell me everything that is on that dish...please....
ReplyDeleteHi Lori. On my plate (Ann's, of course, was exactly similar) is Cumberland sausage in a batter pudding, cabbage and our last few runner beans, and a mash of boiled and sweet potatoes, with onion (and a little nutmeg). Good and filling of an autumn evening.
